A woman just came into the gallery and spoke about how her 6 year old daughter references places in east London based on pieces of ROA work, eg ‘it is near the rabbit’, says hello to each animal every day on her way to school, and was heart broken when her favourite piece was tagged over. I don’t think any other art movement can claim to directly effect so many different people’s lives.
New things:
- I went to Frankfurt a few weeks ago to take part in After School Club. Met a bunch of great people from all over the world and drank a lot of German beer.
- I currently work full time for D*Face, designing his first retrospective book.
- London really excites me again.
- I have my own studio space in Bermondsey, and it has the best accessible roof in the world.
- I sold my first pieces of work through StolenSpace a couple of weeks back.
- oh, and going quite a bit back I got down the interviews for that job with Kate Moross, but didn’t get it. Win some, lose some.

I don’t want to admit who I am quoting from here…

I have been invited by my friends at Clinic Presents to draw on some books as part of this years Pick Me Up. I will be down at Somerset House on Friday 30th, swing by and say hi.
The logo that a bunch of my ideas were rejected for. Designed by the client in the end, because obviously clients know best.

‘style isn’t about what’s cool!! Style comes from a philosophy behind the work.’
